Buchi Babu Reveals Ram Charan’s Intense Peddi Training
The excitement surrounding Peddi continues to grow, and director Buchi Babu Sana has now shared interesting details about the extensive preparation that went into making the film. Starring Ram Charan in the lead role, Peddi is set against a sports backdrop and promises a blend of action, emotion, and drama.
Speaking about the film, Buchi Babu revealed that while cricket plays an important role in the story and is a sport familiar to audiences, the team paid special attention to the wrestling sequences. To ensure authenticity, the makers brought in the trainer who worked with Aamir Khan on the acclaimed sports drama Dangal. In addition, professional wrestlers from Telangana were involved in the production to help create realistic and impactful action sequences.
The director disclosed that all the actors underwent specialized training for their respective roles. Ram Charan, in particular, dedicated nearly three to four months to wrestling training in order to convincingly portray his character. The actor’s physical transformation and commitment are expected to be among the major highlights of the film.
However, Buchi Babu emphasized that Peddi is much more than just a sports drama. According to him, the emotional core of the film is equally significant. He revealed that there is a crucial 15-minute emotional block in the movie that has not been shown in the trailer.
With a combination of sports, intense performances, and strong emotions, Peddi is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Telugu releases in recent times.
