Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla OTT Release Date Revealed

Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, turned out to be a successful comeback entertainer at the box office. The horror-comedy has managed to attract audiences in large numbers and continues to perform steadily even after more than a month in theatres.

Now, the latest buzz is about the film’s OTT release. According to reports, Bhooth Bangla is expected to premiere on Netflix on June 12, although an official announcement from the makers is still awaited. Netflix reportedly acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film much before its theatrical release.

The movie marked the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after many years, which became one of the biggest attractions for audiences. Their successful combination, known for delivering memorable comedy entertainers in the past, once again worked in favor of the film.

As per trade reports, Bhooth Bangla collected around Rs. 175 crore net in India and nearly Rs. 240 crore gross worldwide, emerging as one of the notable hits of the year. Along with Akshay Kumar, the film also featured Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar in key roles. Fans are now eagerly waiting to enjoy the horror-comedy entertainer from the comfort of their homes.
