The Telugu Film Directors Association recently held a key press meet, announcing an important initiative aimed at supporting emerging talent in the industry. Prominent producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao revealed a major decision to collaborate with directors from the association to produce new films.
As part of this plan, films will be made with budgets of around ₹30 crore, ensuring proper scale and quality. The initiative will focus on backing 10 talented directors within the association who have been waiting for the right opportunity to showcase their skills.
To streamline the process, a special committee has been formed under the leadership of Ajay Kumar. This team will oversee the selection of directors, project development, and execution.
The move is being seen as a positive step towards nurturing fresh voices in Telugu cinema. By providing financial backing and a structured platform, the association aims to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, giving deserving filmmakers a chance to shine on a bigger stage.
