Viduthalai Part 2, directed by Vetrimaaran, has been making waves with its intense and emotional storytelling. The film, a sequel to Viduthalai Part 1, follows the conflict between a police constable and the leader of a separatist group.

But when the news of Perumal’s illegal arrest came out in the media, they tried to move him to another place. In that order, Perumal escapes from the police.

Why did Perumal, who was pursuing a career as a teacher, join a checker factory as a labourer? How did KK (Kannada Kishore) influence Naxal movement? How did he love and marry Mahalakshmi, the daughter of the checker factory owner? What is the real truth behind the train accident incident? Why did he take the decision to lead the Naxal movement in a different direction by diverting the ideology of enemy elimination? Has Perumal’s life mission been fulfilled? The answer to these questions is the story of Release 2.
