Hridayapoorvam movie released on 28th August 2025 under Aashirwad Cinemas Banner starring Mohanlal, Malavika Mohan, Sangeet Pratap and many other artists in leads roles.
A Cloud Kitchen owner in Kerala, Sandeep Balakrishnan undergoes a heart transplant operation, from a brain dead military officer Ravi. Donor heart is transported from Pune to Kochi using green channel for the heart transplantation. But he is still celibate even when he is old. After the heart transplant Harita (Malavika Mohanan), daughter of a military officer invites Sandeep to Pune for her engagement. Harita and Ravi’s wife Devika (Sangeetha Madhavan Nair) gets emotionally connected after seeing Sandeep implanted with her father’s heart.
Sonu TP has crafted a magical screenplay to a simple point with a mix of emotions, healthy romance, comedy and action written by Akhil Sathyan, the son of renowned director Sathyan Anthikad. The story revolves around Sandeep, Devika, Haritha . What led Sandeep to undergo a life-saving heart transplant, and why did fate keep him a bachelor, denying him the chance to marry?
How did his fragile condition evolve after this second chance at life? What mysterious bond ties him to Jerry (Sangeet Pratap), and what trials did he endure when he stepped into Haritha’s engagement, an event that changed everything? Why did Haritha suddenly call off the engagement with the man she once loved? What unforeseen circumstances forced Sandeep to stay under Haritha’s roof in Pune, and how did their relationship deepen in the shadows of uncertainty? Meanwhile, what powerful emotions stirred within Sandeep for Devika, and how did the complex ties with both Haritha and Devika pull at his heartstrings? In the end, does Sandeep find the love and happiness he’s long been denied? And if so, who stands beside him as his life’s partner?
Mohanlal’s performance was exemplary, perfectly balancing subtle comedy with emotionally impactful dialogues. Sangeet Pratap, known for Premalu, added vibrant strokes of laughter alongside Mohanlal in the movie. Malavika Mohanan impressed not only with her glamour but also with a deeply emotional performance. Sangeeta Madhavan Nair, Siddiqui, and other supporting actors also delivered strong performances. Guest appearances by Mira Jasmin, producer Anthony, and Basil Joseph injected additional energy, adding to the overall enthusiasm of the film. Don’t miss the magic of Mohanlal’s screen presence. Theatrical experience is good.
