Madhura Sreedhar Reddy Slams Telugu Cinema Crisis Complaints
Director Madhura Sreedhar Reddy has shared his strong opinion on the ongoing discussions surrounding the current crisis in the Telugu film industry. In a candid statement, the filmmaker said that risks, pressure, and losses are a natural part of any business, and cinema is no exception.
According to him, people enter the industry fully aware of these challenges, and therefore, constant public complaints only damage the reputation of Telugu cinema.
Sreedhar Reddy remarked that if filmmakers genuinely feel the situation is unfavorable, they should stop making films and move on to another business instead of repeatedly speaking about problems before the media. He sarcastically added that the issue is being projected as though it is one of the biggest crises facing the country.
The director emphasized that cinema is a business, not a charity. He urged filmmakers to make movies sincerely and honestly. If a film succeeds, they can continue in the industry, but if it fails and they cannot handle the losses, they should step away gracefully.
He also pointed out that personal struggles, company-related issues, and financial pressures should not be imposed on film projects. Calling cinema a “wonderful medium,” Madhura Sreedhar Reddy advised the industry not to turn it into a platform for complaints and negativity. He concluded by saying every genuinely good film will always find its audience and earn appreciation.
